HIS Law, HIS Grace ❤️

The grace of GOD is way beyond mind comprehension. When I look at the cross, I can’t explain the measure of love and free gift of salvation to all mankind.

The law mentioned that the penalty of sin is death. No matter how much GOD loved Adam and Eve when they disobeyed, it wasn’t going to change the penalty of sin. So much so that to extend grace for us to still not die, it would take the life of HIS Only Begotten SON (John 3:16, 2 Cor 5:21) This amazing grace is deep to break the heart and make one desire conversion, because left to the natural man, the natural man receives not the things of GOD (1 Cor 2:14) neither can he comprehend them, they are foolishness to him which is why we have to be born of the Spirit, to see the Kingdom of Heaven and for spiritual things which are spiritually discerned ( 1 Cor 2:14) to make sense.

Because we are saved by grace, we are then asked this question:

Romans 6:1-2 “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?”

Because of a loving GOD who gives us many chances (1 John 2:1) because of CHRIST our advocate, it doesn’t then give us a license to be careless and sin. We are to “die daily” (1 Cor 15:31), we are to punish all disobedience until our obedience is fulfilled ( 2 Cor 10:6) we are to Romans 13:14 “But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.”

The only way this can be something desirable to man, is by new birth, being converted and walking in the spirit moment by moment. Otherwise, the natural man will not naturally enjoy dying daily, it won’t even be a thought to consider.

Question is, what is sin? What is to be put away every moment? What is to be put away will only stay clear if we’re abiding in CHRIST every moment because “HE is the light” (John 8:12) and “whatever is darkness is made manifest in the light.” (Ephesians 5:13)

According to 1 John 3:4 “whoever commits sin also transgresses the law, because sin is the transgression of the law”

The grace of GOD, unlimited grace, is not the license to transgress GOD’s law. It would never be. In fact, if abiding in CHRIST every moment, CHRIST would not lead one to transgress the law, that would be contrary to who HE is- the SON of obedience. This is why we’re told to abide in HIM and thus bring every thought to HIM (1 Cor 10:5) the only One we can trust (Proverbs 3:5-6) who will therefore show us the way, instruct us in truth, and thus gain life as HE is “the way, the truth and the life”( John 14:6)

You know growing up, I could attest that lying, stealing, having idols, murder is wrong, and while grace is available, it is clear that if one is transgressing the law then the person will not inherit the Kingdom of Heaven (Galatians 5:21, 1 Cor 6:9) but how is it that in recognizing this I paid no attention to one of the commandments that is very forgotten in Christendom “Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.” (Exodus 20:8-11)

James 2:10-11 says, “For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all. For He who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not murder.” Now if you do not commit adultery, but you do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.”

It is very important to search the scriptures and find out, and know. To talk to GOD and know. For HE says, “Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” - Matthew 7:22-23

Working iniquity is working contrary to the grace of GOD, because HIS grace is sufficient to keep us from falling. (2 Cor 12:9, 1 Cor 15:34)However, it takes moment by moment walk with HIM.
